The Perth County portion of the Guelph to Goderich (G2G) Rail Trail also travels through North Perth's Village of Monkton. The G2G Rail Trail stretches 127 km between Guelph and Goderich. You can find a map of the G2G rail trail and more information on the G2G website.

The Regional Municipality of Waterloo is a regional municipality located in Southern Ontario, Canada. It consists of the cities of Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge, (collectively called the Tri-Cities), and the townships of Wellesley, Woolwich, Wilmot, and North Dumfries.
